Will a vote for Roy Barnes be a vote for Obama in 2012?

This report on President Obama’s job approval has changed in other states; but the folks here in Atlanta and throughout Georgia still have about the same ratio regarding the president as they did after the election with either approval or disapproval.
Senator McClain, Republican, carried that state of Georgia against Senator Obama. And today’s poll shows little difference in how people feel. The support for Obama in the Atlanta area is likely to remain about the same as that is where so many of his supporters live.
But could a Democratic Governor in this state change that come elections in 2012? Could a vote for Roy Barnes as Governor translate into more support for Obama in the next election?. . . . .
